Luckily the first night of installation was really windy which was good becasue I dragged some friends of mine down to the Southbank to have a look.

Each turbine is attached to a pole which is inserted into the wooden base. Installation went pretty smoothly although Tom got blisters on his hands.

I was very cold when this photo was taken, we installed the test and then had to wait for it to get dark and windy. It didn’t get dark till 10:00 so it we were there for a while.

Out look for today looks good according to AccuWeather the average wind speed is 14km/h (9mph) with gusts of 20km/h (12mph) from the west and the BBC agrees with 8mph winds from the west.
Things looking good for Wind to Light this evening.
